/ DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY /
At the start of 2006, the Martinón family decided to put their project in motion for a winery on the island of Lanzarote. A project which, as well as being interesting, was steeped in possibilities.
One of the most attractive aspects of the project was the possibility of producing a Malvasía mono-variety (mono-varieties refers to wines made exclusively from one unique variety of grape). The family can do this because it has its own vineyard. Most of the vines growing are this fine and interesting variety: they can be controlled and nurtured, with harvesting times being chosen at just the right time, and only using the right treatments etc.
To produce the required volume to fill the winery several wine growers from the region were found and selected. They were growers who were sensitive to the needs of the project, who not only had experience selling Malvasía grapes but would also be involved in the project. And aware of new trends: not only in wine, but in organic wine-growing.
